Looks like we are having a ....

GIRL!!! That's right...on 09/09 we had our ultrasound to find a perfect, beautiful, healthy baby girl growing inside. Yes, our hearts were set on a bouncing boy but we are excited that God has blessed us with a healthy little girl. Here is some pics from the appt.

On Labor Day weekend, Scott came to save the day and help us figure out where the leak in our basement was coming from. Turns out - its no big issue right now. It basically comes down to poor layout of pipes/vents but the house was built in the 1970's - so ?? Other than that - it was a good weekend. Dad and Margaret came over when the Scott/Heather/kids were here for pizza and dad found himself entertained with our 2000 pc. puzzle for the evening.

On Sept 11-13, Jason and I went over to Indianapolis to do some baby furniture shopping. They have this awesome store - Buy Buy Baby - that has just about everything you could ask for. We got the furniture ordered....now we just have to wait 8-12 weeks for it to come in and then it will be time for assembly. We also got a chance to hang out with some good friends that I worked with at Lilly. We had an awesome evening and are so greatful for such good friends!!

This weekend -- is our 1 year wedding anniversary! It's crazy how time flies by. I would have never imagined a year ago that I would be 5 months pregnant with a beautiful girl! We are soooo lucky! For our anniversary, we went to breakfast and did some shopping. Then we came home and I finished our baby registry online at Babies R Us while Jason finished up some errands. Finally, we both sat down to watch our wedding DVD - the engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception - every minute of it! What a wonderful year it has been.

We are getting pretty excited to travel to Omaha in 3 weeks to witness my brother commit his life to his fiance Misty. I hope they know how magical married life can be --- there is nothing better than waking up every morning next to your best friend and knowing that no matter what happens - you always have them on your side!!
